Agreement to these terms
By using this website or watching Coyote CFO content, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the content. We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted here governs, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
Entertainment and satire; fictional characters
Coyote CFO is a satirical entertainment program. Kaizen (the coyote), Don, Franc, and Schad are fictional characters; their dialogue, opinions, and predictions are written and performed for comedy and commentary. Nothing a character says is a statement of our actual view, a research conclusion, or an analysis you should rely on. Any resemblance to real persons, firms, or trading desks is coincidental.
AI-generated content
Coyote CFO is produced with generative-AI tools. The characters, voices, narration, and footage are synthetic and AI-generated. No real person is depicted, performs in, or endorses anything in the program. Market data referenced in an episode is real, but everything said about it is dramatized comedic commentary.

Episodes reference real market data observed as of the timestamps shown on screen. Data is delayed, not real-time, and may contain errors or omissions; we do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Index values, sector data, and other market information remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced for commentary and satire.
The Terminal
The Terminal is a wall of economic observations drawn from public data, published as dated editions alongside a written memo from the desk. It is informational and editorial. Like everything else here, it is not financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything.
Terminal sources and timing
Every figure on the Terminal comes from a named public source, and every source is named on the same page, in the provenance list beneath the wall. Observations are delayed and are never presented as real-time: each figure carries the period it describes, and each edition carries the time its observations were collected. The Terminal reports what its sources had published at the moment of collection — not the state of any market at the moment you are reading. The underlying observations are public-domain United States government data and we claim no ownership of them; the selection, presentation, and commentary are ours.
Provisional and revised observations
Some observations are provisional when first published, and a source may revise them later. The Terminal marks a provisional figure as provisional where it appears. A later revision is a change in the source’s own record rather than a correction of ours, and it does not mean the earlier figure was wrong when it was published.
Transformations and derived figures
Coyote CFO may transform or contextualise a source observation — for example, presenting an index level as a change over a stated comparison period. Where a figure is derived rather than taken directly from a source, the underlying source value is shown with it and the comparison used is declared. A derived figure is ours, not the source’s: it is not an official series, it must not be attributed to the source, and it may differ from any figure the source itself publishes.
Gaps, omissions, and source failures
A source may publish nothing for a period, withdraw a series, revise its history, or fail to respond. The Terminal shows those as absences rather than filling them in, and an instrument that cannot state its figure shows no figure at all. The Terminal is not a complete picture of the economy, or of any part of it, and no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness is given for it.
Editions are a record, and corrections move forward
Each edition has its own permanent dated page and preserves what was published that day. We do not silently rewrite a published edition. Where something later needs correcting, the correction is published in a later edition that identifies the edition it corrects, so that the original record and the correction can both be read.
Intellectual property
The site, episodes, characters, artwork, and brand are the property of Coyote CFO and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may watch, and share links to, our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, re-upload, redistribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
No warranty
This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, trading losses, or other losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or any Coyote CFO content. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site or content is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
